it was something i wanted but i can't stop thinking about it

my partner and i have a good thing going but lately i've had these fantasies where i'm the top, giving out orders in bed. we tried once but it left me feeling empty and alone afterwards, even though everything went well at the time. i don't know how to explain this weird sadness that comes with those moments.
