Just My Luck

So, I got divorced last week after six years of marriage. It was amicable though, both my ex and I decided we were better off without the baggage weighing us down. But since then, this thing with my long-term boyfriend has started to feel like a playful little game. Last night, it escalated way beyond what either of us expected. He's been supportive through my divorce, but now there’s this undeniable chemistry that neither of us can ignore. It felt almost silly how we both ended up in bed giggling about the wild turn our nights have taken recently. I'm not trying to justify anything or make light of it, it just feels like a strange new chapter opened, and who knows where it will lead? Just wanted to get that out there.
