Ex's Unexpected Pleasure Request

So, I just got out of a six-year relationship. It wasn't amicable, but that's beside the point. The last time we were together, it was supposed to be one final blowout before she moved away and I stayed put. We had been arguing for weeks about how this was going to end, me wanting to keep trying because I'm stubborn like that, her feeling like it just wasn't working anymore. Anyway, the night we split up, we were at my place watching some trashy movie and drinking way too much wine. She brought up an old roleplay she once wanted to try but never did, a dominatrix kind of thing. I laughed it off because, well, me? Not really into that scene, plus we already had so many other issues. But as the night went on and things started getting messy between us, she kept bringing it up again and again. It was bizarre, to be honest. She wanted to tie me up, blindfold me, stuff I'd never even considered before. I told her no multiple times, mostly because I thought it was just another way for her to assert control in an already messed-up situation. But then, right as we were about to call it quits for good and go our separate ways, she made one last request: a quick little scene with me tied up. Her words were something along the lines of 'Let's just do this once more before you leave forever.' She was so serious that I didn't know how to respond. After a few minutes of awkward silence and contemplation (and definitely not because I wanted it), I agreed, mostly out of a weird sense of closure. So, we did it. It wasn't exactly mind-blowing or something I'd ever do again, but somehow in the moment it felt important to her. Afterward, she broke down crying and said she wouldn't forget this moment. Then she left. I don't know what that was all about for her, really. But if it helps anyone out there who's dealing with their own weird breakup scenarios, just remember: sometimes people do unexpected things in the last moments of a relationship. And you might not understand why until much later, or maybe never.
