feeling so conflicted

me and my partner are in an open relationship but i couldn’t shake this weird feeling after hooking up with someone new last weekend. we went out for coffee then it turned into something else...it feels wrong somehow even though everyone involved is consenting adults. what's up with these conflicting emotions?
