Experimenting Beyond Comfort Zones

I recently experimented with something that pushed the boundaries of my usual comfort zone. My partner and I have a good dynamic but don't share all kinks, which can be challenging when trying new things. This particular experience was quite outside our norm, yet it intrigued me despite knowing they wouldn't join in. It's funny how sometimes you feel like you need to try something just to understand why others enjoy it, or maybe to figure out if there’s a part of yourself that craves it more than you thought. It wasn’t graphic or overly intense, but the idea alone felt exhilarating and a bit frightening. I don't expect anyone to judge or comment; this is mostly for me to process what it means in my journey with intimacy.
