Tangled Up In Something I Shouldn’t Have

So, I recently broke up with my long-term partner after we’d been together for years, and the timing couldn’t have sucked more than it did. Got hit pretty hard by all of that stuff coming to an end. And then this other person, who’s a bit younger and knows about my situation... Well, things sorta spiraled in ways they shouldn’t have. Didn't mean for anything to happen beyond being there for each other during our breakup blues. Now I’m stuck trying to figure out what to do with these tangled emotions that don’t feel like they should be here at all.
