My relationship ended recently, and I decided to see someone casually for the first time since then. Met a new person at a bar on a Friday night. We clicked instantly; they seemed genuinely intrigued by my medical stories over drinks. Later, we went back to their place to explore each other physically, with mutual consent but an intensity that felt slightly uncomfortable. It was different from my past relationships, no history, just raw attraction in the moment. Do others find this kind of casual hook-up refreshing or unsettling? I’m not sure how I feel about it.
