The Law Student's Dilemma

Starting law school was supposed to be challenging but straightforward. Yet, amidst all the lectures and reading materials, my mind kept drifting towards forbidden fantasies, like acting as a mentor to an intern, guiding them closely yet with an air of dominance. This year, I found myself drawn to these thoughts more than ever before when I met a new friend who expressed interest in exploring power play dynamics. After much discussion about limits and boundaries, we decided to step into character roles for one night only, me as the authoritative figure and her playing along as my student or intern. The experience was intense, pushing both of us out of our comfort zones while keeping everything within agreed-upon rules. Even though I feel a sense of defiance towards societal norms, I'm still grappling with how these fantasies fit into my life moving forward.
