Forgot the Coffee Order

So, I did this thing at work where I was supposed to write down a customer's coffee order and forget it on purpose. It felt naughty at the time, like a little rebellion against all that boring barista routine. But then when I had to confess to them later, admitting that I never put their name on my coffee mug (it was 'No Name Barista') turned out funnier than awkward. They laughed and said they were in on it from the start. Still not sure if they were just being kind or really did forget what they ordered. My wife has no clue about any of this little fib, but I bet she'd crack up too.
