Midlife Surprise

I recently ended my marriage after decades of commitment and monotony. One day, while attending an academic conference, I found myself drawn to a much younger colleague, she was in her twenties, vibrant and full of life. We met for coffee and the conversation quickly turned intimate. Despite knowing it was wrong, we gave into our mutual attraction one night during the conference. It felt like a breath of fresh air but also a stark reminder that I'm not done with desire yet.
