heartbreak and late nights

just broke up with my ex last week, been spending way too many nights thinking about us. i had this one night when she came over unexpectedly, we were both feeling lost and just needed each other. it was intense but also kinda sad b/c we knew it couldn't happen again. sometimes i miss the closeness, you know? all these late nights, wondering what could've been if things were different.
