Late Night Experimentations

I've been studying the human psyche and sexuality in grad school, but sometimes I need to explore my own desires away from academic theory. Last week, after a long day of research papers and data analysis, I decided to take things further than usual... My roommate was out for the night so there wasn't anyone to stop me. I found an old blindfold I'd picked up years ago in some weird fetish store downtown, something I never expected would be used this way. I put it on and let myself wander around my apartment, trying to figure out how the lack of sight affected touch... I felt a little vulnerable but also very turned on... I started with touching my own body, exploring every inch of skin, feeling the curves and lines as if for the first time... The sensations were intense and unfamiliar, like discovering something new about myself that I hadn't known before. It was exciting but also a bit terrifying at the same time... I decided to take it further... and reached for my toys, things I usually keep under wraps even from myself because they're so explicit. But tonight felt different... As I explored, I whispered out loud what I was doing, describing everything in detail as if another person were there with me... It made the experience more vivid and real somehow... Eventually, I found a rhythm that took me over the edge, fingers moving against my own body at just the right pace and pressure to make me come hard. The sounds of pleasure echoed off the walls, and it was incredibly liberating but also left me feeling strange afterwards... Was this normal? Or was I venturing into something darker than expected?...
