A Little Lie

I recently broke up with my long-term girlfriend, and I felt terrible for lying about where I was spending her birthday weekend. Instead of going on a hike like I said, I stayed home and binge-watched TV shows. I couldn't even look at myself in the mirror after that. It's like I lost respect for who I am.
