So This Happened Last Night...

I swear, every time my husband starts to get into it, he always has this bizarre habit of asking if I’m enjoying myself. Last night, we were really getting into it; I mean, we weren’t just fooling around, this was intense, full-on sex with him inside me, thrusting hard and deep. It's so frustrating because at these moments when you're both locked in the rhythm...he breaks character by asking if I'm okay, as if I can’t tell from his body’s reaction that it’s all good! And here I am thinking he’d rather focus on my pleasure than worry about himself, but apparently not. So here's to another night where instead of just enjoying the ride, one of us has to stop and ask how the other feels... Is this normal? Or is it just him?
