A Lie Told in Class

I recently broke up with my girlfriend and felt pretty lost. To keep things from getting awkward, I told her that I'd moved out of our apartment and into a new place all by myself. The truth is, I'm still living there but just said this to avoid confrontation. In reality, I've been crashing on my roommate's couch for the past few weeks.
