Been Hooking Up With My Therapist's Wife

I've been seeing this therapist for a couple of years now. She’s really helped me with my gender journey and overall mental health. We were talking the other day, and she mentioned how great it is that I’m in an open relationship where my partner fully supports me exploring my desires outside our bond. I started thinking about her more and more as a person, not just someone who listens to my problems each week. One night we ended up at the same party, and there was this undeniable chemistry between us. We talked for hours, it felt like everything I’d ever wanted in conversation. It wasn’t until we were saying our goodbyes that she admitted her husband is often traveling for work, and she’s been feeling a bit lonely. Well, two weeks ago, we both found ourselves at the same coffee shop around lunchtime. She looked nervous but also excited, so I suggested we grab some food together, just to catch up over lunch. Next thing you know, it wasn’t about catching up anymore. We ended up back at her place, and things got pretty heated between us. I know there are ethical boundaries in therapy relationships, but this isn't really like that. She’s still my therapist because she helps me process these kinds of feelings, so it feels almost normal to talk through our actions with each other. I don’t regret a thing, even if others might think less of us for crossing into something so taboo.
