Caught Myself Acting Out of Character

I’m a stay-at-home parent dating casually. Last night, after spending time with someone new, I got back home and caught myself in the mirror role-playing our encounter, exploring things that felt taboo yet oddly liberating. It was as if another part of me wanted to push boundaries despite knowing my partner would prefer something more traditional. Is this normal? Should I talk about these fantasies or keep them private?
