Just Can't Help Myself Tonight

So I'm this barista type person, you know? Work all day and just trying to keep it chill. Not really in a relationship right now and honestly, I don't see myself changing that anytime soon. But there's this one guy at work who always comes in around closing time with his big grin and those eyes that seem like they could read my mind. Anyway, tonight was the night I finally did it. I mean, we've flirted a little here and there, but tonight something just snapped. I don't know if it was all the coffee or what, but as soon as he walked through the door, I found myself slipping into his office with him trailing behind. Next thing I knew, my hand was on his chest and before I could even think about pulling back, our lips were touching. It wasn't a long kiss either, but it felt like a mile marker for me, something that I've wanted to do for months without ever actually going through with it. And you know what? Even though there's no real future in it, and we're both still at work, there was this moment of pure connection. Defiantly not regretting it either.
