missing him tonight

i guess it's been a week since i last saw jack. we're both busy, but today feels different. he knows i'm not great with long distances, even if we're just in different buildings at uni. we had this thing where we'd do dirty talk or send pics of ourselves when we missed each other too much. it helped for a while, but lately... i dunno. tonight i found myself looking up his number to call him and tell him how hard he makes me think about him, but i just can't bring myself to do it. feels kinda dumb since he's always been open with stuff like that before. maybe it's silly of me to feel this way but something's shifted between us, and i'm not sure if it's for the better.
