Another Slow Day at Work

Today was one of those days at the coffee shop where every customer seemed to think they had the right to explain their entire life story. By the end, I just wanted a nap. But that's when it happened: my boyfriend, who’s in his thirties and always looking for new adventures, showed up with a surprise. He'd decided we needed a little roleplay fun at work. Can you believe it? There I was, trying to keep things normal while he pulled out the script for our game, he played a detective, and my character was someone who needed help. We had these odd looks from customers but managed to pull it off without too much trouble. So here’s my question: Is this something everyone does or just us weirdos? What do you think?
