Experimenting with a New Kink

Hi there! I'm a grad student in my mid-twenties and recently got into this new kink that's kinda pushing my boundaries. My partner, Alex, is super supportive but doesn't share this particular interest yet. Last night, I tried out some CNC roleplay with another consenting adult friend, just for the thrill of it. We both agreed beforehand that everything would be consensual and safe, even if the scenario pretended otherwise. It felt really intense and exciting to explore these limits together. Has anyone else tried something similar? Is this common or am I just getting carried away?
