A Secret Night Out

I recently started dating this guy, Alex, and we’ve been having a good time together. Last weekend though, I went out with my friends without telling him, I didn’t want to break things off yet but needed some space too. We ended up at this bar where an old flame was there, who I had a dance or two with. It felt wrong as soon as Alex called me later that night. I’m still unsure if it’s worth explaining everything to him or just moving forward like nothing happened.
