Unexpected Experimentation

I’ve always prided myself on my professionalism, but last week, I found myself questioning everything. During a late-night shift, my girlfriend came to the hospital for a routine check-up. As she lay there in her gown, something inside me clicked and I ended up performing intimate exams that were purely about pleasure rather than medical necessity. She seemed to enjoy it, too, which left me feeling both exhilarated and deeply disturbed. Is this normal? What does it mean when the line between personal and professional becomes so blurry?
