New Crush in Town

I've been dating casually since I came out a few years back, but nothing has felt quite right. That was until last week when this new girl moved into the apartment across from mine. From the moment I saw her, my heart started racing and I couldn't stop thinking about her. We exchanged numbers after some friendly chats on the stairs and have been texting ever since. Tonight, we went out for drinks. She's stunning, with long dark hair and a smile that lights up any room. The way she looks at me... it's intoxicating. We shared a few laughs and stories over our drinks. I found myself leaning in closer each time she spoke. When the bar closed down, she suggested grabbing dessert together. It was then that my hands started to shake with anticipation. As we left, the street lights illuminated her silhouette perfectly. She turned to me and said, “I’ve never felt this way before.” My heart swelled at those words. There’s something special about this new crush of mine, I just know it.
