Been MIA for a Reason

So last week I decided to surprise my partner by booking us into this fancy hotel that has a reputation for certain adult amenities. Imagine her face when I suggested we try out the ‘naughty suite’ package, complete with leather and handcuffs. She reluctantly agreed but clearly wasn’t in the mood after all that build-up. The contrast was a bit too much fun to ignore. So here’s my question: how do you gracefully back out of these kinds of arrangements without sounding like a wet blanket? Any advice appreciated.
