Caught During A Call

I was going through a rough divorce and decided to work from home more than ever. One day, I had a video call set up for a client meeting and needed some stress relief badly. So, before the call started, I grabbed my laptop and my favorite toy, hoping to ease my mind before the conference began. I was so caught up in myself that I didn't notice someone else had joined the meeting five minutes early. As I looked at the screen with a mix of panic and shock, there were three people on the call now, all of them my colleagues. They could hear me but couldn't see what was happening behind their screens. I froze, feeling both exposed and ashamed, wondering if any of them knew exactly what had just happened as we moved into business talk. It's been weeks since then, and every time I think about it, a wave of embarrassment washes over me. I can hardly bring myself to admit this even to myself.
