missed latte shots

so i totally messed up at work today man like a huge oopsie. i got busy making someone's drink and just left their iced coffee there for way too long. it was lukewarm by the time i remembered it and had to throw it away, so i made them another one and hoped they wouldn't notice. but then later when we ran out of milk for a minute, i told my coworker that i saw someone grab the last latte shot without asking, which wasn't true cuz i was just trying to cover up my screwup. felt super guilty all day about it.
