A Quiet Experiment...

I recently started experimenting with my sexuality as a trans man in my 20s. I haven't been in any relationships and am mostly okay with that, but something felt off when I tried to connect with others this way. Last night, I met someone online who understood the nuances of gender exploration and we... connected, without crossing into physical territory. It was interesting and somewhat reassuring. Is it common for people to feel a disconnect like this? Should I keep exploring or is it time to step back and reflect...?
