...When He Left Me Hanging...

I was at this party last week, just hanging out with friends. We were playing spin the bottle and it landed on me and someone I really liked but never made a move on. It felt risky but thrilling... We went into another room, closed the door, and well... let's say things got heated real quick. But before we could go all in, he just stopped... said maybe we should wait or something. I was left there wanting more, feeling kinda rejected and confused. Is that normal? Should I have pushed it further? What would you guys do in my shoes...
