A Forbidden Moment in the Office...

Last month was particularly stressful for me at work. My assistant, Emma, she’s in her twenties and incredibly competent, had been helping me with an urgent project. Late one night, after everyone else had left, we were discussing it intensely when suddenly... there was this electricity between us. We both felt it. I don’t know what got into me, but I leaned in close to whisper a suggestion that was more about staying late for personal reasons rather than work. She blushed deeply and whispered back something so unexpected, it set my heart racing.... The air crackled with tension, and we both knew... We were drawn to each other’s eyes, and for just a moment there was nothing else in the world but us.
