I lied to my professor about the reason I missed an important lecture. Instead of confessing that I overslept because I was binge-watching a show till late, I told her I had car trouble and couldn't make it on time. The lie was so trivial, but now I feel guilty every time I see her... I know it won't change much, but the weight of untruths can be heavy sometimes....
