Engaged and Unashamed

I’m a trans man in my twenties who recently got engaged. It feels like a monumental step in my journey, and I want to share it with no shame or apologies. My partner and I have been together for three years now, and we’ve supported each other through everything. We had this one night where things got really intense; she was incredibly enthusiastic about exploring my kinks and desires. She understood me on a level that’s rare, and there wasn’t anything she wouldn’t do to make sure I felt loved and accepted. It made the engagement announcement feel even more right. Sometimes people think they know what it means to be trans or in an LGBT relationship, but honestly, our story is just as simple as any other couple finding their way together. And yeah, that night? Well, let’s say we got a bit creative with how we celebrated. But at the end of the day, it was all about love and understanding, no big deal.
