Just Another Day of Loneliness and Lust
Anonymous Hungry Heathen #679 · General
Started my morning as usual, coffee in hand, the quiet hum of my office around me. No one else here yet, just like every day. The clock ticks, marking another lonely hour. I remember when students would fill this space, eager and bright. Now it's just empty desks and dusty books. Thoughts wander to last night, sitting alone at a bar, drinking too much, talking even more. Met her there again, she's in one of my classes. We've had coffee together once or twice before, but last night was different. More than coffee this time. Felt it building inside me all evening, that old yearning, that loneliness wrapped up tight with lust. She left before I did, a quick goodbye and the knowledge she knows what to expect now when we meet at the bar. Meant to just sit there after she was gone, watch others leave one by one until I could go home too. But instead found myself reaching for my phone, sending her a text with an offer she can't refuse. Met up again outside campus hours later. Same spot, same bed, different angle and deeper thrusts than before. Didn't say anything about it afterwards, just got dressed, said goodbye, both knowing we'll do it again. Wonder if I'm the only one who feels this way after, wondering what it means for me as a person. The sadness is there too, underneath everything, but I don't know how to fix any of it. Anyone else feel like this? Is this okay?
