Just Ended a Long Relationship

After 15 years of marriage, I recently ended my relationship. On our last night together, we had very explicit and graphic sex, me thrusting hard into her as she gasped and moaned loudly, her legs wrapped tightly around my waist. Despite the emotional turmoil, it felt strangely cathartic. Is this normal for couples breaking up? What do you all think about that kind of closure?
