A Morning Routine Turned Unexpected

My partner and I have this routine every morning where we wake up together, make coffee, and then go about our days. It's comfortable and familiar, yet there's always an underlying current of desire that neither of us quite addresses... Until today. While making breakfast, I noticed his eyes linger on me longer than usual, and suddenly he pushed the plate aside and pulled me towards him. We ended up engaging in a spontaneous session right there on the kitchen counter, something we hadn't done for years... It felt liberating yet slightly naughty to be caught up in the moment like this in our house... Does anyone else have routines that sometimes turn into unexpected moments of passion?
