not sure what happened

so i recently got out of this relationship and its been hard adjusting back to being single again. tonight my best friend who is also a girl from work stopped by unexpectedly, we had a couple drinks and ended up talking late into the night about all sorts of things but mainly how i feel after the breakup. at some point it felt like she was really listening in a way no one else has and we ended up getting pretty close physically...its not like i slept with her or anything but there was kissing and touching, and i woke up in the morning feeling confused because while i did enjoy it, it didnt feel quite right. now im wondering if its just about needing comfort after being alone for so long or if there's something else going on inside me that i dont fully understand yet.
