Engaged But Curious About My Student's Fantasy Descriptions

I've been engaged to my girlfriend for six months now. We have a wonderful relationship and everything seems perfect on the surface. However, lately I've found myself reading some rather explicit fantasies that my female students occasionally share online. They're all adults, of course, but there’s something about these vivid descriptions that captures my attention more than it should. The fantasies often involve elements of dominance or roleplay scenarios which are intriguing to me. It's not like I'm acting on any of this, I certainly wouldn't jeopardize my career or my relationship, but the images these students paint seem to stir up parts of me I didn’t know existed. Am I just curious about exploring new boundaries in my own relationship, or is there something more going on here that I should be worried about? Is it normal for a teacher like me to find this content intriguing yet unsettling?
