Got Carried Away

I was at a recent dinner party as myself, a doctor, and it turned out my husband's best friend had just started seeing someone new. The woman was stunning, and the three of us hit it off instantly. We were all getting quite tipsy when I ended up telling them that I'm secretly into BDSM but only on rare occasions, never more than once a year with just one partner. I told this story to sound edgy, even though I've never acted on these feelings in real life. Afterward, as everyone went home and the night wore down, I felt so guilty for lying like that. It was so silly of me to make something up like that when I was already married and happy. But there it is, I’m not sure why I fibbed, but here's this little thing that's eating at me.
