My Secret Art Project

I'm an artist, and I recently started a series of pieces that are quite personal, they explore my erotic fantasies. Working on them feels incredibly liberating, but also a bit terrifying. Is it normal to pour so much intimacy into your art? What if others see these pieces someday? Am I just being paranoid, or should I keep this side of myself strictly private?
