Confused Afterplay

I met this person online and we hit it off right away. We've been talking a lot and finally decided to meet up last night. The chemistry was there from the start, but things got a bit intense during our first time together. It wasn't rough or anything like that, everything was consensual, but I didn’t expect us to take it so far. Afterward, we both seemed a little uncomfortable with how much we explored. I can’t stop thinking about whether this means something more than casual play for them. Should I reach out and try to talk things through? Or should I just let this one go and focus on finding someone else who doesn't come with so many questions? It’s driving me crazy.
