Just Another Date Night Routine

So I went on another date last night with this guy, Alex. We've been seeing each other casually for a few months now, but it's not serious or anything. We met at an event and just kinda clicked, I guess. Anyway, we decided to have dinner at some fancy restaurant downtown. It was pretty good, nothing special though. Afterwards, he suggested we head back to his place. Normally I wouldn't go this far on a casual date, but something about him just... makes me feel comfortable and curious, I suppose. We ended up watching some movies and talking for hours. It's strange how sometimes you can connect with someone so easily over such random things. Eventually we both sort of drifted towards each other. There wasn't really any plan or anything - it just kinda happened. The next morning felt weird though; like this was all some big mistake. But then again, I couldn't really regret what had transpired between us either. So here I am, trying to figure out where this leaves things with Alex and if we'll do something similar in the future or keep our interactions light and casual. Maybe one day it'll click for both of us that there's something more there, but for now I'm just playing things by ear. It's a bit tiring having these sorts of uncertainties floating around, but what else is new? Gotta say though, the whole experience wasn't exactly unpleasant, even if it left me in this odd state of mind afterwards.
