Boredom Got The Best Of Me

I broke up with my girlfriend last week and things have been pretty quiet at work. Usually I'd distract myself by hitting the gym or going out to meet friends, but this week, nothing seemed to capture my interest. So there I was, scrolling through tinder aimlessly when a profile caught my eye, it wasn't that attractive, just someone who looked like they might be having as boring of a week as me. We exchanged some flirty texts and before long, found ourselves arranging a meetup at her place after work. It’s not something I typically do, but there was this weird sense of liberation in the idea. I suppose it's easy to lose sight of why one does things when everything feels so stagnant.
