The Lie About The Milk...

So... I got separated from my spouse this past spring. After, I ran into an old friend at the grocery store and chatted with them for a bit. I was feeling down so I fibbed about getting milk at the store that day, it wasn't true but it made me feel like I had a life outside of divorce proceedings... now I'm just beating myself up over such a small, insignificant lie.... didn't mean to hurt anyone... not sure why I did this.....
