Newfound Freedom and Desire

Since my divorce six months ago, I've been single and not looking to settle down again anytime soon. But last night, something unexpected happened. My neighbor, a handsome guy in his late twenties who's always friendly but distant, suddenly showed up at my door with wine and an invitation inside. We laughed, drank, and before we knew it, our hands were all over each other. It felt electric, unlike anything I've experienced since the divorce. Is this normal to feel so excited about casual hookups after being committed for years? What should I do next time?
