i lied about going out with friends

totally lied to my neighbor the other day. she asked where i was last night since it was so late and dark by my house. said i went out for drinks with some friends, but honestly, i just stayed in binge-watching netflix. felt kinda silly fibbing but also kind of bad about not really having a social life right now. guess next time i should be more honest, or at least make plans to actually go somewhere before saying yes.
