So My Wife and I Decided to Roleplay a Stranger in the House Scenario, Yeah It's as Crazy as it Sounds

I swear, being married for years can get pretty predictable. But lately, my wife has been throwing these crazy ideas at me left and right, which was kinda what I needed. So one day out of the blue, she brings up this idea of playing house with a stranger in our home. We've been friends with neighbors before but never anything like that, you know? But we talked it over and decided to give it a shot. We invited one of her close female friends who has known us for years. At first, I was skeptical, after all, this is my wife talking about someone else being intimate in our home, right? But here's the thing: she’s smart as a whip. She explained how we’d make it clear from the get-go that anything goes but nothing happens outside the room and no one gets to touch anyone without consent first. It was weird at first seeing her interact with someone else in this whole other roleplaying scenario. Then there's the part where I’m just chilling, relaxing on our couch like a typical evening, until my wife shows up acting all nervous and saying “I think there’s a stranger in the house.” She then proceeds to act flustered and introduces her friend as someone who’s lost. We're supposed to be suspicious but welcoming at the same time. Anyway, it was awkwardly hilarious seeing them both act out this setup while I just sat around trying not to laugh. It definitely gave us all a jolt of excitement that we hadn’t felt in ages. But you know what? There’s something about being with your spouse and letting go into a moment like this that's utterly refreshing. So yeah, it may sound crazy but hey, as long as everyone is clear on the boundaries and respects them, sometimes breaking from the norm can be incredibly rewarding, even if my wife still insists I pretend to be confused when she shows up with her friend saying there’s a lost tourist in need of help.
