The Secret Notebook

I recently found an old journal belonging to my ex-husband hidden in his closet. In one entry, he had written a note promising himself not to tell me about our secret weekend getaways with friends where they would play poker and have themed nights together. I felt hurt but also relieved that I wasn't part of those memories.
