A Surprise in the Attic

So yeah, been married for almost three decades now. Think I've got everything figured out by this age, right? Wrong. My wife had a surprise in store for our anniversary last year, literally up in the attic where we keep all those boxes of old crap no one wants to throw away. She asked me to clean it up, you know, clear space for some new stuff. I was like 'sure sure', thinking about that stack of vinyl records and dusty toys from when my kids were little. But turns out there was more in there than just nostalgia. We found a box with all sorts of things from her bachelorette party years ago, feather boas, blindfolds, handcuffs... I mean who would've thought? After dusting off the cobwebs and laughing about it for hours, we decided to have some fun, play out one of those fantasies she'd always hinted at but never really talked about. And let me tell you, there's a reason why they call them 'adult toys'. It was like rediscovering something that had been there all along, waiting in the dark for us to uncover. The attic isn't just where old memories go to sleep anymore.
