Caught in the Coffee Scent of Sin

Anonymous Reckless Vixen #226 · General

Ever since I started dating casually at my coffee shop job, I've felt this overwhelming urge to push boundaries and take things too far. It's like every day there's a new temptation or someone who catches my eye just enough for me to wonder what it'd be like to explore something different. Lately, though, things have escalated in ways that make me feel terrible. I'm not sure if it started because of the stress from work and the crush of people all day long, but I found myself getting close with a regular customer who's in his twenties. He’s always so friendly and charming, we'd chat for a bit before he ordered his usual drink. One evening, we both had a little too much wine at a friend's party, and the next thing I knew, things got really heated between us. We ended up spending the night together, and in my drunken state, it felt like the most natural progression of our flirtatious banter and late-night conversations. But now that the haze has worn off, I'm realizing how reckless this was. He's just a customer, and while we did consent to what happened, it feels so wrong because there wasn't any real commitment or even an established understanding beyond casual talk at work. There are other people involved, and I might be the only one who sees this as anything more than a passing fling. I feel sick to my stomach thinking about all of this. It's one thing to explore personal boundaries with strangers, but it feels so much worse when there’s a real-life connection that shouldn't matter outside of making great coffee and casual chatter.
