Just Another Patient

Ended with the long-term patient three weeks ago. She was persistent, despite our professional boundaries. Consultation turned to comfort, then casual touches, and finally full physical intimacy under a false pretense of treatment necessity. It worked once but didn't last. Now she's back as just a patient again. Strange how quickly passion fades in the sterile halls of medicine.
